Antarctica.      Another view of the Naval Air Station McMurdo, taken from Hut's Point where the New Zealand explorer, Scott, had his camp during the 1908 to 1911 expeditions.  Note the grounded ship, held fast by ice.  This is now used for fuel oil storage.  The prominence in the right background is Observation Hill.  Several pictures of the area were taken from the top of it.  Caption by Bill Nichols.  (Circa 1959)
