OOPS! DROOPED MAIN SKI

I was flying, more or less, as a "safety pilot" for a RAF exchange pilot when we were called to take a look at this main ski.  He wanted to look at the ski a bit closer than I did.  Or, for that matter, closer than the rest of the crew. When I advised the AC that we had our wings seriously overlapped, and were in an unsafe condition, he asked the FE what he thought.  The FE said, “Sir, I agree with Captain Bailey.”  What can one say or do about a "drooped" main ski…foam the runway…set it down carefully…pray.
