GREENLAND DEW LINE SITE DYE III

This is one of the two Greenland Ice Cap DYE sites supported by the 17th Troop Carrier Squadron. The radar dome on top of the site houses an AN/FPS-3 search radar antenna. The disc shaped structures are four AN/FRC-34 tropospheric scatter radio antennas. Note the stairway at lower right leading up into the site. Other than the snow, everything at the site was brought there by a C-130D.
