1. The cooperation of the Alaskan Air Command in providing a C-130 aircraft to support Project Turnkey at Tuy Hoa, RVN, is deeply appreciated. Aircraft 70486 was assigned for our use from 16 April through 6 June 1967. The crew members performed in an exceptional manner in providing this needed airlift. Over 470,000 pounds of critical construction material and equipment was transported to the construction site from Taipei, Taiwan. In addition, numerous passengers were safely flown to an from Taipei and Clark AB. | |
