Duck Hunting at Sondrestrom Air Base

 Ron Hebert, no its not "A-bear" you Cajuns, 17th TCS pilot from Vermont, puts the finishing touches on a duck blind in 1961. Ron was a "confirmed bachelor" until the "Birds" migrated to Alaska in 1964. Shortly after arriving at Elmendorf, Ron met the "lady of his dreams," Patricia Burchart a flight attendant, and they were married in 1965.
