The Marginal Zone.  Greenland is the world’s largest island and has an ice cap which covers about five-sixths of the total area.  Along the edges of the ice cap is a  “marginal zone” which prevents ground transportation from entry.  The “marginal zone” of the ice cap is the reason that the C-130D ski model aircraft was developed to support DYE 2 and DYE 3.
