Ralph W. Carboneau, 76, of Kansas City North, passed away June 7, 2008 at North Kansas City Hospital. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Friday, June 13, at the Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I- 35 at M-291 Hwy., Liberty. Visitation will also be held from 9-10 am Saturday, June 14, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 919 N.E. 96th Street, Kansas City, MO 64155.

Burial with full military honors will follow in Resurrection North Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, you may honor Ralph's memory with a memorial donation to the Holy Family Catholic Church Building Fund. Ralph was born October 30, 1931 in Newton, Massachusetts, and resided in the Kansas City Northland since 1969. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wally and Nora (Ferdenzi) Carboneau; his sister Barbara McDaniel; and son, Robert Carboneau.

Ralph enjoyed a career in aviation for over 30 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, including the Korean Conflict and Vietnam Conflict where he was awarded a Bronze Star Medal, and retired in 1969. During his Air Force service, he was a proud command pilot of C-119 and C-130 Transport Aircraft. He later was an Aviation Safety Officer at the Kansas City International Airport for 17 years. Ralph was a founding member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

Ralph leaves his wife of 51 years, Ann; children, David and Gregory Carboneau and Lisabeth Rosenbloom; grandchildren, Justin, Christopher, Michael, Mark, Adam, and Daly; and a great granddaughter, Addison; as well as numerous golf buddies, other relatives and friends.
