70-488 Being Chopped at AMARC

C-130 D-6 Tail Number 70488, May 2007.  488 is one of the original C-130D aircraft delivered to the 61st TCS.   It was flown by the 17th TCS and 17th TAS, in addition to the 61st.  70-488 was converted to a D-6 model, the skis were removed, while at Dyess AFB, Texas.  70-488 spent time in RVN during Operation Turnkey.
