A cocked/drooped nose ski on one of the C-130D's. A malfunction in the ski and nose gear retraction system caused this nose ski to dangle out of its normal horizontal plane. After flying around to burn off its heavy fuel load, the aircraft landed safely at the ski strip at McMurdo, Antarctica.
