Dear Firebirds and Friends,

Our cross-generational reunion in Savannah was great fun! Our numbers increased from 2025 by eight. The 16 “Legacy” and 14 “Post ‘70s” Firebirds, along with 12 spouses, and a son established new friendships and refreshed old ones. Another eight long-distance Firebirds joined in by Zoom on Tuesday evening bringing additional laughter and broad smiles. Stories, smiles, and laughter were plentiful throughout the gathering.

Those in attendance this year favored continuing to meet annually with the understanding that some may only make it every other year. There is no obligation to make every reunion, but we want to provide the opportunity for those who can, while they can.

We need to begin the process for next year and that starts today with YOU! Additional locations for next year were offered by the group on Wednesday night. When added to last year’s list, it gets pretty long, but we’re open to any other suggestions and need to hear from everyone ASAP! Here’s what we have so far:

Please email Ken Pribyla your suggested LOCATION for the event No Later Than 9 October 2026.

We will then send out a complete list and ask each of you to pick a first and second choice. The outcome will determine a location and we can get to work on the details.
